I’m working on my Girl Scout Gold Award. This award is the highest achievement you can achieve in Girl Scouts and is a service award, benefitting the community at large. I am planning to produce a production of CATS with no cost to the public, as well as organizing several adoption clinics. The play is scheduled to run July 10th, 11th, 17th, and 18th 2009, during Reno, NV’s annual summer arts festival; Artown. This will be done in partnership with Reno Little Theater.
As most of you know, theater is expensive, and CATS is definitely no exception to this rule. I need to raise over $6500 to make this dream a reality, so I’m putting a plea out to all of you. I am asking you all for your help. I am looking (tax-deductible) donations. They don’t have to be big, any donations will help bring the Jellicle Ball to life one tail at a time.
If you'd like to give a donation, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I will give you the information so you may make a donation. (I'm not putting that info out for everyone to see, as it is rather personal.) Your name will be listed in our playbill as a sponsor, and any donations over $10 can request a copy of this playbill. (I am in the process of setting up a paypal account as well.)
If you would like to track this project’s progress, you can visit Black Cat productions . Updates will be posted (somewhat) regularly. If there are any questions, feel free to e-mail me at email@example.com. I’d love to answer any questions.
Thank you for your time,
